Congratulations to graduating senior Reed Morgan, winner of the 2017 Michael D. Coe Prize for Best Senior Essay in Archaeological Studies

The Department of Anthropology is pleased to announce that the 2017 Michael D. Coe Prize for best senior essay in archaeology goes to Reed Morgan for his essay entitled “An Overview of English Church Archaeology: Its Development and Practice.” The Coe Prize is awarded annually to the most outstanding senior essay by an Archaeological Studies  major for an archaeological studies topic. 

In addition to the Coe Prize, Reed was recently awarded a prestigious Paul Mellon Fellowship for Master’s-level research and study at Cambridge University. Congratulations, Reed!
