Congratulations to Yale Anthropology alumna, Radhika Govindrajan, on being awarded the General Anthropology Division’s Exemplary Cross-Field Scholarship Award

Congratulations to Yale Anthropology Alumna, Radhika Govindrajan (PhD, Sociocultural Anthropology, 2013), who was awarded the General Anthropology Division’s Exemplary Cross-Field Scholarship Award for her article “The Goat that Died for Family: Animal Sacrifice and Interspecies Kinship in India’s Central Himalayas” published in American Ethnologist in 2015. Her article “Monkey Business”, published in Comparative Study of South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East in 2015, was awarded the 2016 Junior Scholar Award by the Anthropology and Environment Section of the American Anthropological Association (AAA). Both awards were presented to Radhika Govindrajan at the recently concluded annual meetings of the AAA held in Minneapolis.
