Professor Louisa Lombard awarded the U.S. Institute of Peace’s Peace and Security Early Career Scholar Award

Congratulations to Professor Louisa Lombard, recipient of a 2017 U.S. Institute of Peace Peace Peace and Security Early Career Scholar Award (ECSA). The award supports research by early career scholars working on global issues of security and peace. 

Professor Lombard’s most recent work, State of Rebellion: Violence and Intervention in the Central African Republic, is a historical and ethnographic examination of violence and conflict in the Central African Republic.
