Congratulations to Shoko Yamada, a third year PhD Candidate in the combined PhD program in Sociocultural Anthropology and the School of the Environment, who has been awarded a Wenner-Gren Foundation Dissertation Fieldwork Grant to support her dissertation project, “Promises of Repair: Environmental Remediation and Land Transformations in Post-industrial Japan.” She is currently in Japan conducting field research for this project.
