Professor Lisa Messeri honored with Poorvu award for excellence in teaching

The Yale anthropology department’s Dr. Lisa Messeri is a recipient of this year’s Poorvu Family Fund for Academic Innovation award, given to junior faculty members at Yale who have demonstrated excellence in teaching in undergraduate programs. 

Professor Messeri is recognized alongside other Yale faculty: Lucas Bender, Thomas Allen Harris, and Candice (Candie) Paulsen.
