Catherine Panter-Brick participated in a UN session Diplomatic Acknowledgment of Epigenetic Science in Conflict Settings, 80TH United Nations General Assembly, Permanent Mission of Ireland to the United Nations, 25 Sep 2025, NYC.

This session addresses the unprecedented crisis of violence against children in conflict zones. Panter-Brick contributed scientific evidence on how early childhood trauma permanently alters brain development and perpetuates intergenerational cycles of violence, while showcasing how evidence-based Early Childhood Development programs can build resilience and promote peace.
