Yale Anthropology is proud to announce that Ph.D. candidate Sahana Ghosh has been awarded five grants this past semester to support her 18 months of field work from July 2014 through December 2015 in both India and Bangladesh, on her project entitled:
Borderland Orders: The Gendered Economy of Mobility and Control in North Bengal

Ms. Ghosh’s graduate advisor is Kalyanakrishnan “Shivi” Sivaramakrishnan, the Dinakar Singh Professor of India & South Asian Studies ,Professor of Anthropology and Forestry & Environmental Studies and Director of Undergraduate Studies. Congratulations Sahana on this significant accomplishment!
