The biological and sociocultural/linguistic subfields of the Anthropology Department offer graduate training in aspects of biocultural anthropology, global health, human evolutionary biology, and medical anthropology. Students interested in these areas often work with faculty advisers from multiple subfields. In addition, the Anthropology Department participates in Yale University’s M.D./Ph.D. Program, in which students complete two years of medical school and then begin graduate training in Anthropology.
