I am a biological anthropologist interested in the early hominin diet and how subsistence strategies shaped human evolution during the Pleistocene. My research primarily focuses on investigating hominin exploitation of aquatic fauna from fossil assemblages in northern Kenya and how this exploitation changed through time. I use an interdisciplinary approach employing methods from zooarchaeology, paleoecology, and paleoanthropology to examine the interplay between resource use and hominin diversity.
