The colloquium will provide a behind-the-scenes perspective on working with archaeological collections in the Anthropology Division of the Yale Peabody Museum. We will hear from graduate students, Yale Peabody affiliates, museum scientists, and others who have worked closely with archaeological materials in the Collections Study Center at West Campus. There will also be a tour of the Anthropology Division collections area. Our goal is to provide insight into the structure, potential, and outcomes of research on the rich corpus of artifacts available at the Yale Peabody Museum. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided by Yale Hospitality.
