The pioneering work of an interdisciplinary team, led by our own Catherine Panter-Brick, was featured in Terror and Hope: The Science of Resilience which took Best Documentary Short at the Raw Science Film Festival. Research was conducted in partnership with Mercy Corps, We Love Reading, international scholars, and war-affected communities in Jordan. The 38-minute documentary, filmed by award-winning filmmaker, Ron Bourke, was created for a general audience. The film demonstrates how science can be mobilized on behalf of refugees in humanitarian settings by featuring the voices of scholars, humanitarian staff, and refugee families displaced by war.
