Thyda Long

PhD Student

I was a member of the Cambodian restitution team in returning looted antiquities. One of my main responsibilities was to interview former looters to further investigate and gather evidence for the return of stolen artifacts from museums and private collectors worldwide. I hope to further analyze the connections between cultural heritage laws and how they are shaped by different perspectives depending on classes, belief systems and social norms.
